  • Provide professional, efficient, and exceptional service at all times. This includes completing preparatory work for other procedures, ensuring that clients and pets are comfortable in the clinic.
  • Ensure the safety of pets, clients and associates by utilizing safe restraining techniques, following standard protocols, and maintaining clean, sanitary and organized treatment areas, exam rooms and labs.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Two years’ experience as a veterinarian technician.
  • Must possess proper animal handling and restraint skills.
  • Must be at least 18 years old to perform duties including radiography (x-ray).
  • Able to stand, walk, stop, kneel, crouch, and climb as well as manipulate (lift, carry, move) up to 45 pounds.
  • High School diploma

The candidates for this position may be exposed to a variety of pets that may bite or scratch, and on occasion, exposed to anesthesia, radiation, biological hazards and medication/controlled substances.

  • Acting as backup to the manager and taking care of all duties in their absence.
  • Assisting the Manager with operational issues.
  • Scheduling meetings and team-building sessions as required.
  • Promptly answering the questions of staff and other stakeholders.
  • Taking inventory and ordering office supplies as needed.
  • Updating logs and order forms.
  • Analyzing all operations and forwarding suggestions for improvement to the Manager.


  • Enter accurate charges and collect payment when services are rendered
  • Print or record the end-of-day financial balances, ensuring they are accurate
  • Know fees for routine services
  • Acts as a backup for the Accounting Specialist


  • Ability to work independently and stay motivated.
  • Personable, comfortable, and professional on the phone and via email correspondence.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
  • Detail Oriented.
  • Enthusiastic attitude, with a desire to learn & provide input when needed.
  • Collaborative: Builds and maintains excellent relationships with teammates.
